CURRENT STATE COFFEE ROASTING

 Current State wanted a no nonsense, utilitarian identity. It needed to be unique, but without unnecessary frill. Basically, design it to look not designed.

The answer to this ask was an incredibly type-driven identity system based around a customized brand typeface that we dubbed “Kansas Sans.” We paired this with a simple, ownable graphic element based on the roof line of their shop in downtown Shawnee. Top that off with a midwest inspired palette, some hand painted signage, and delicious coffee? Welcome to Current State.
